Fine dining w great service. This gem on Canyon serves excellent, well thought out and executed food. I always evaluate the restaurant based on the category, in this case fine dining. Cocktails are pricey at $25 but also really delicious. Some cocktails have cute names and odd ingredients and an odd taste to match - not Geronimo. We sat at the bar and our service was prompt. I have sat at bars as a lone diner at similar restaurants and felt I needed to have a medical emergency to get attention or pay. Not here. The bar staff were quick, professional and gave great recommendations. We had the mushroom special appetizer in a lemon butter. Yum. Sea bass on a bed of grains w bok choy was perfectly seared, well cooked, flakey and not dry. Wonderful accompanying sauce. For dessert, pistachio cheesecake and Meyer lemon crepe - Meyer lemon curd w heavy whipped cream on light crepe w crispy edges. Beautiful to behold and even better to eat! A must for your visit to Santa Fe.

Geronimo is really my favorite Boulangeries in the entire Westerns hemisphere! This place is simply divine! As a French man I know one thing or two about baguette, petit pains au chocolat, tartes, eclairs au chocolat and it does not get any better than at Clafoutis. This is a must stop if you come to Santa Fe. The service is efficient and vraimant super gentiil! And the atmosphere is French rustic! I love it!

Geronimo's has to be one the top restaurants in the state. We have been here several times in the past so we knew, this was where we wanted to go for our Golden Anniversary Dinner. We had a great table with a corner banquette so super comfortable seating. They started us off with complimentary Champaign. The bread basket included a lavash infused with local spices that had a little heat. There were also chili breads and sourdough, both of which were great. We then had the Quail and Foie Gras for an appetizer. Every component was incredible from the well seasoned and dressed Friese salad on top to the proteins. The Quail was the most flavorful leg I have ever tasted with deep flavor throughout. Of course, the Foie Gras was sublime in texture and taste. It was a fantastic starter. The main course was a 5 rib rack of the largest lamb ribs I have ever been served. Both of us had our requested level of doneness cooked to perfection. The pea puree and Merlot reduction were delicious with the polenta. We were both full by the end but had to split some desert. The finishing touch was a piece of artwork as they brought what appeared to be a poached apple but was actually a thin shell of white chocolate shaded to appear like a golden apple. Upon cracking the shell was a fantastic apple filling which was all complimented by the ice cream and caramel sauce. Truly a romantic and special place to dine.

We ordered take away because A. couldn't get a reservation in time and B. they don't allow kids under the age of 10. Take away was however delicious! Particularly loved their miso cod with ramen and their tuna tartar. Both steak meat options were also flavorful and tender. They packed everything really well so although it led to a lot of containers particularly for the different sauces, it allowed the flavor and quality to remain. Only complaint is that they didn't pack us any silverware.

This is worth any drive while in Albuquerque/ Santa Fe area! Make sure to make reservations in advance and if your lucky enough to sit at the bar do it! From the warm welcome, to their in sync performance behind the bar! I wish I could remember their names, just the best guys! The food...we started with the mushroom bisque which is creamy and sweet with sherry, absolutely devine! My husband had the elk tenderloin, he said the best he's ever had anywhere!! Tender and delicious with the mash and sweet peas. I had the special, halibut with lobster & lump crab in a cream sauce atop risotto!! Cooked to perfection! Some times it can be overcooked but this was light and flaky. We were also sat next to a great couple who I know we'll become good friends to see every time we travel through. It's a beautiful dining area and seating looks great throughout. Chatter heard lightly not too obtrusive so you can hear each other at all times. Just beautiful!! Thank you for an amazing dinner and time!!

Absolutely worth the hype for one of Santa Fe's fine dining establishments. The setting is just idyllic - Cute adobe style building on canyon road with the coziest interiors, dimmed lighting, lit fireplaces, and INCREDiBLE art pieces to marvel at, so good that I had to walk around the restaurant to see the others. Service exceeded all expectations, beginning with complimentary valet service. Our waiters were very knowledgeable and professional, quick with the service and always checking on us without being bothersome. Depending on how busy the night gets, they sometimes only have one service earlier in the evening. We came on Monday night at 6pm and by time we left around 730 all the tables were full. Reservations are a MUST. Food is absolutely outstanding, with a robust menu it will be hard to choose. The special appetizer was a pasta with braised pork that was a perfectly sized portion for one. I wish they offered it as an entree. We also had a Wasabi Cesar Salad with freshly made croutons that are crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best salad I've ever had - so good that I will go back just for another. For my main, I enjoyed the Elk Tenderloin which was served medium rare on a bed of cheesy, bacon mashed potatoes and some veggies. Amazing! Elk can be quite gamey but the flavor was quite soft. Overall an excellent, dare I say must-eat experience not to be missed.

I researched the most romantic restaurant with good food and great service and came across Geronimo! The restaurant is housed in a 250 year old adobe, that has been beautifully restored, simply magical. As you drive up to it you see the porch/outside patio dining area, I wish the weather was warmer, so that we could have sat outside. It was cold and had been raining earlier, so we made reservations to sit inside, the interior is beautiful and cozy. We got lucky enough to be seated near one of their lovely fireplaces, it was very intimate and romantic. My husband was not drinking that night, so our amazing server brought over a mocktail for us to toast and celebrate the night. We both got the filet mignon and they were served with a variety of sauces, we also had the yummy apple for dessert, this was so unique and I've never had anything like it. The staff were amazing and made me feel so special! Not only is the restaurant beautiful, but the food is also delicious. I'm in love with this restaurant and can't wait to return!

This humble looking circa 1756 adobe restaurant on gallery-strewn Canyon Road is always featured on best of Santa Fe lists and it's easy to see why. Though the whitewashed walls and antler chandeliers signal rustic and hearty, it's the sophisticated and well orchestrated menus that shine through. We snagged a last-minute reservation and were seated at the bar, but that's probably the best place to be, with excellent service and attentive staff, not to mention being in the thick of things and hearing everything. There is a vegetarian tasting menu with wine pairing that we did not order but would choose another time. We ordered wasabi Caesar salad and pan-seared foie gras which was decadent and silky. My companion ordered the grilled Maine lobster tails and I ordered the kurobata pork tenderloin which was tender and in a rich sauce. The restaurant was full and our dishes were timed nicely and with excellent presentation and service. This is on a nice stretch of Canyon Road among art galleries and shops. It was nice to stroll the area before our reservation as the sun was setting.
